Computer Lab

The Computer Lab forms an important component of the Institute's infrastructure, providing a wide spectrum of services to the students as well as faculty and staff involved in research and other academic activities.

All students have various computer science papers in their courses. The Computer Lab provides the support for them to have a hands-on feel of what they learn in the classrooms and enhance their computer skills. It also supports research activities undertaken in the Institute.

The Comuter Lab comprises of seven laboratories (of the Department of CSE and the Department of IT) housing approximately 200 computers having the very latest configuration. The wide range of software includes C, C++, Java,  MATLAB,  Prolog, LISP, Rational Rose, etc. All syste are networked and anyone occupying a terminal can access resources available on the network, barring security restrictions. Students also learn how to harness the capabilities of a network.
