Anamika Sinha from Chemical Engineering Department alongwith Shreya Sinha from BIT, Mesra won the First prize in Mind over Matter Season 5, 2018 by TATA Steel. She bagged Pre-Placement Offer, cash prize of Rs. 1 lac, along with a trophy.
This was the fifth season of Mind Over Matter. There were around 1000 entries out of which my team qualified in being one of the top 10 finalists. Their project title was "Improve fine coal flotation using methods of oil spillage recovery", mentored by Ms. Soni Jaiswal,Principal Researcher, Raw Materials Group, R&D, TATA Steel.
